Draft of the Buoy

Alongside my acting work, I worked as a therapist at the National Youth Home for about 10 years. Prepared experimental teaching material in animation about well-being and emotions. Worked in the supervision of teenagers, in family and individual counseling at social services Rvk. Established supervision for teenagers with the participation of Unglingad. socialize. Rvk. Took part in setting up a youth care home under the auspices of the Social Affairs Agency. An educational representative at the State Youth Home, Tjaldarnes, BUGL, and Stuðlar. Courses in theatrical expression for therapeutic purposes in different places. Held a recitation course focusing on relaxation and self-empowerment for all age groups. Taught a special education class at Engjaskóli and continued to develop individual and group emotional work courses with an emphasis on relaxation. Taught self-empowerment in Parent House "Children are people too"

The Buoy was made in 2000.

In 2001-2002, I was full-time teaching the buoy in schools. The courses were attended by 390 children that winter and were a great success. I also worked with groups and classes within the schools in bullying solutions and self-strengthening using the buoy methods.

Counseling is in many ways teaching, and with my acting background, I went on a teaching-license course in 2002-2003. My final thesis from KHÍ. deals with drama for therapeutic purposes. The educational center showed great interest in my work within the schools, as it was entrepreneurial work. Within the school system, I taught Baujan for about 20 years. Since 2004, I have held courses for professionals in the buoy’s methods. They have attended, for example, study-work- and social workers, deacons, psychologists, and teachers. Different groups have ordered Baujun's teaching lectures, tailored to their needs.
